What's your favorite aspect of Do Good Bus?
I love seeing people make new friends and not want to leave when the event is over because they want to stay in the moment.
Where were you born?
I was born in Lunenburg, MA, and lived there until I was 18. I'm grateful for those years.
What makes you happy?
Connecting good people with each other and seeing good things happen in the world as a result of these new relationships is at the top of the list. And lately, the song Pachamama by Beautiful Chorus.
Do you have a go-to karaoke song?
Love Shack by The B-52's, performed with my wife.
Who’s your favorite person?
Dan Pallotta. It might seem random, but he changed the way we look at nonprofits and fundraising, positively impacting thousands of charities and the communities they serve. He gave a great Ted Talk on the subject.
What could you eat any day of the week and never get tired of?
Pizza and pasta—these are often breakfast foods for me!
What's one of your favorite organizations to volunteer with in LA?
Social Justice Learning Institute (SJLI). We have a kinship because we both started in 2011.
What's your favorite thing about yourself?
We're getting real here, huh? OK, I choose happiness, though sometimes it's easier than others.
Do you wish upon shooting stars?
Yes... I see a lot of them—I think they wait at night for me to come outside.
