Volunteering with Landmark Dividend at A Place Called Home

A Spooky Transformation in South Central Los Angeles

Last week, we had the pleasure of facilitating a volunteer experience with an incredible team from Landmark Dividend, who joined us to bring Halloween spirit to A Place Called Home (APCH) in South Central Los Angeles. Together, we transformed the APCH center into a spooky haven with festive decorations that brought joy and excitement to local youth.

Do Good Bus: Connecting Communities and Cause

At Do Good Bus, we believe in connecting people to meaningful volunteer opportunities; this event was no exception. We coordinated the experience from start to finish, ensuring that Landmark Dividend volunteers had everything they needed to create a positive impact. By organizing the logistics and guiding the day’s activities, we helped the volunteers dive into their roles, creating a memorable Halloween celebration for the APCH community.

A Place Called Home: More Than a Safe Space

APCH isn’t just a community center; it’s a beacon of hope and empowerment for underserved youth. Through various programs focused on education, arts, and well-being, APCH provides a nurturing environment where young people can explore their creativity, build life skills, and learn to make healthy choices. By giving these vital resources, APCH helps shape futures and open doors to new opportunities for youth in the community.

A Day of Joy and Connection

The Landmark Dividend team arrived with incredible energy and compassion, fully embracing the Halloween spirit to create a magical day for APCH’s young members. From spooky decorations to engaging activities, the volunteers made the day memorable and fun, reminding the youth that their community cares about them and is invested in their happiness.

Thank You, Landmark Dividend!

A huge thank you to the Landmark Dividend team for your dedication and kindness. You made a real difference for the APCH community, spreading joy and creating lasting memories. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community—one ride at a time.
